Animated Display Ads Agility recommends a maximum of 18 frames per second with a maximum animation length of 18 seconds and no more than two loops. These ads can be run in “inUbanner”, preUroll and standard video. Creative Backgrounds and Borders On all ads with partially black, white or transparent backgrounds, you must add a visible border of contrasting color to the majority background color of the creative. General Specifications For mobile ads, high resolution is not always necessary due to the smaller screen sizes. However, it is essential to ensure that the creatives are of sufficient quality to remain legible and visually appealing when displayed in inventory spots. This balance between resolution and clarity is key to maintaining the effectiveness of your mobile ads.

  • Creative images must be clear, recognizable, and relevant

  • Text appearing in the ad must be legible

  • Creatives must occupy the entire space of the image size you’ve chosen

  • Creatives cannot appear sideways or upside down

  • Creatives cannot be segmented, contain multiple copies of themselves within the ad, or otherwise appear to be more than one ad

  • Creatives must open a new page on click; they cannot open in the same page.

Optimization Guidelines

Ad creatives play a crucial role in the success of your advertising campaigns. Ensuring that your creatives are optimized for performance and clarity can significantly impact their effectiveness. Below are some guidelines to consider:

  • Use recommended sizes to maximize reach and effectiveness.

  • Maintain a balance between resolution and clarity, especially for mobile ads.

  • Test creatives across devices to ensure consistent quality and functionality. To optimize your ad creatives for performance and clarity, consider the following best practices:

  1. Adhere to Recommended Sizes: Use platform-recommended sizes to ensure compatibility with the most common inventory spots.

  2. Prioritize Legibility: Ensure that text and visuals are clear and easy to read, even on smaller screens.

  3. Test Across Devices: Preview your creatives on different devices to confirm their appearance and functionality.

  4. Optimize File Formats: Use appropriate file formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG) to balance quality and file size.

Our standard 6 sizes are:

  • 300 x 250 (medium rectangle)

  • 336 x 280 (large medium rectangle)

  • 160 x 600 (wide skyscraper)

  • 728 x 90 (leaderboard)

  • 320 x 50 (mobile leaderboard)

  • 320 x 480 (mobile full-page)

Other supported ad sizes include:

  • 300 x 50

  • 300 x 600

  • 320 x 50

  • 320 x 100

  • 336 x 280

  • 970 x 250

  • 1200 x 1200

The Agility app currently supports 41 unique ad sizes for desktop, smartphones, and tablet users. While it is possible to upload creatives in sizes other than the recommended ones, doing so may limit the ad's access to the most common inventory spots. This limitation does not directly affect conversion rates but can reduce the visibility and reach of your ads. To avoid this, it is best to adhere to the recommended sizes whenever possible.
