How to Create a New GTM Container

Create a new Google Tag Manager container to manage your Agility tracking tags.

Creating a Google Tag Manager (GTM) container is the first step in setting up tag management for your website. Follow these instructions to create a new GTM container:

Steps to Create a GTM Container:

  1. Open Google Tag Manager

  2. Select Your GTM Account

    • Choose the relevant GTM account where you want to create the container.

  3. Navigate to Admin Settings

    • Click on the “Admin” button located in the top navigation menu.

  4. Add a New Container

    • Click on the “+” button under the "Container" section to create a new container.

  5. Configure Your New GTM Container

    • 5.1. Name Your Container: Enter a descriptive name for your new GTM container.

    • 5.2. Select the Target Platform: Choose "Web" as the target platform for your container.

    • 5.3. Create the Container: Click on the “Create” button to finalize the setup.

  6. Access Your New Container

    • You will be automatically redirected to your newly created container.

  7. Implement the Container Code and Conversion Tags
