If your campaign isn't delivering impressions, there are several common causes to check. Work through each section below to identify and resolve the issue.
Check Your Campaign Status
First, confirm your campaign and ad group are both set to Active. Navigate to Initiative → Campaign and verify the status column shows "Active" for both the campaign and any ad groups within it. If either is paused, click the status toggle to reactivate. Newly launched campaigns often go through a calibration phase where the system learns and optimizes targeting and delivery. During this phase, early projections may show 0% reach, and risk warnings might appear in the campaign dashboard. This process typically resolves within a day as the system gathers data and optimizes.
Check Your Budget
A campaign will stop delivering if its budget has been fully spent. Check your campaign's budget vs. spend in the campaign overview. If spend equals or exceeds your budget, you'll need to increase the budget or wait for the next billing cycle.
Also verify your account doesn't have a billing hold — check the Billing section in your account settings. Accounts with unpaid invoices past 7 days may have campaigns automatically suspended.
Check Your Flight Dates
Verify your campaign's start and end dates. If the campaign hasn't started yet or has already ended, it won't deliver. Navigate to your campaign settings and confirm the date range is current. Even if the campaign status shows as "live," it may be set to begin at a future date. Ensure that the campaign's scheduled start date has already passed and that it is active within its designated date range.
Check Your Targeting
Overly narrow targeting can limit delivery. Review your ad group targeting settings to ensure your audience isn't too restrictive. Consider broadening geographic, demographic, or behavioral targeting if reach is very low. External factors such as audience saturation, inventory competition, and changes in user behavior can also impact targeting effectiveness. Regularly reviewing and adjusting targeting settings can help mitigate these issues.
Common targeting issues that limit delivery:
Geographic targeting set to a very small area
Too many audience layers applied simultaneously
Demographic filters that exclude most of the available inventory- Audience saturation reducing the pool of eligible users
Frequency constraints limiting impressions to the available audience
Check Your Creatives
Campaigns require at least one creative to deliver. Navigate to the Creative section of your ad group and verify that creatives are uploaded. Please also check your email to see if your creatives were rejected. If you haven't received an email from us you can chat with our team and see if it has been approved.
Check Your Tracking
If your campaign requires conversion tracking and the tracking tag isn't firing properly, this can sometimes affect campaign optimization and delivery. Verify your Universal Tag is installed correctly on your website.
