Our addressable targeting feature creates virtual boundaries around specific residences and identifies residents within those boundaries using third-party data. Please note that this targeting method does not apply to commercial building addresses.
To upload an addressable list, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Persona tab located on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click into your Audience Library.
Once in the audience section, click on + Audience located in the top right corner.
Choose Addressable as the Audience type.
Name your new audience and click Create.
After creating the audience, download the CSV addressable template provided to migrate your addressable data.
Note: Do not modify the template headers. Ensure all columns (except for ZIP-4) are filled out before proceeding. To ensure your addressable CSV file is processed correctly, follow these formatting requirements for headers: 7. Once the CSV template is filled out, upload the file into the audience section.
Exact Match of Header Names: The headers in your CSV file must exactly match the required names without any leading or trailing spaces. For example, if the required header is
city, it should be written ascitywith no spaces before or after.Flush Alignment: Each header should be flush with the left margin of the cell. This means there should be no spaces before the header name. Proper alignment ensures the system recognizes the headers correctly. Common mistakes to avoid:
Including Spaces in Headers: Ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces in your header names.
Misaligned Headers: Double-check that all headers are flush with the left margin of the cell.
Once you add the addressable audience to your Persona, it will automatically be classified as Addressable. This simplifies the process and ensures accurate classification.
Finally, click Activate Audience located in the top left corner of the screen to complete the process. Once activated, the audience will automatically be classified as Addressable, ensuring seamless integration into your campaign.
